Ferry Beach, Scarborough

Single kayaks are available for rent by the hour or day right at Ferry Beach which is located on Ferry Road in Scarborough. 

Reservations are not available for rentals of the equipment kept at the beach, but as always with advance reservations we will bring any of our rental gear to Ferry Beach, one of our most popular kayaking spots.

Kayaks are $15 for the first hour, and $5 per hour thereafter with a $30 daily maximum. Kayak rentals include a paddle and life jacket. Self guided tour maps for bike and kayak will be available soon.

We believe that Ferry Beach is one of the finest recreational paddling and opportunities on the southern Maine coast. 

Paddling here is delightful and fun for all ages and all skill levels. We have had many groups rent kayaks at Ferry Beach and spend up to four of five hours exploring the scenic Scarborough harbor with it lobster boats and town landing, as well as the rivers and marsh.
